Oliseh Blames Hard Luck For Fortuna’s Loss To Cambuur

Former Nigeria international, Sunday Oliseh, has described his Dutch second division club Fortuna Sittard’s 1-0 away loss to 10-man Cambuur in Friday’s league game as unlucky. A Marvin Peersman’s second minute goal, sealed the slim victory for Cambuur.

Cambuur were reduced to 10 men in the 32nd minute following a straight red card shown to Bryan Smeets. Despite playing majority of the game with a man advantage, Fortuna Sittard could not break down Cambuur’s resolute defence.

Reacting to the loss, Oliseh who was a former coach of the Super Eagles from 2015 to 2016, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance.
