Lagos Water Corporation assures residents of uninterrupted water supply soon

The Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Muminu Badmus, Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) has assured residents of the restoration of water supply to areas affected by the recent disruption in the State.

The LWC Group Managing Director/CEO, who stated this today in Lagos while addressing the media over the issue, noted that the disruption results from the ongoing repairs of leakages at the LWC Akute Intakes, which adversely affected water production and supply at the facility in Adiyan area of Lagos.

While expressing his appreciation to residents of the affected areas for their patience and understanding over the disruption in water supply, he stressed that the LWC team of engineers are presently working assiduously at the location to rectify the situation.

Engr. Badmus pledged that water supply would soon be restored across the State as the Corporation is expediting steps towards ensuring that the leakages are fixed promptly.

Recall that Adiyan Waterworks is the largest waterworks supplying 70Million Gallons of Water per Day (MGD) to Lagos residents and environs.
