The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Wednesday said it was wrong to say that the Federal Government has not spoken out on the alleged certificate forgery involving the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi, Adeosun.

He said since the National Youth Service Corps, which is part of government, had spoken, then the government had spoken on the matter.

Mohammed spoke with State House correspondents at the end of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said he had nothing to add to the press statement issued by the NYSC on the matter. “The government has spoken. NYSC is part of government and I have nothing to add to what the NYSC has said,” the minister said.

Mrs. Adeosun was among ministers and other top government officials that attended the FEC meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
