The Social Democratic Party, SDP, on Tuesday, suspended the two contenders to its presidential ticket, Donald Duke and Jerry Gana, over alleged anti-party activities with immediate effect.
The party, which endorsed President Mohammadu Buhari for a second term last week, also suspended its Acting National Chairman Supo Shonibare.
SDP’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yemi Akinbode, announced this at a news briefing in Abuja.
Shonibare was accused of being the arrowhead of a splinter group.
