On arrival, the governor was said to express dissatisfaction with the blockage of his office entrance on Tuesday.

The state workers and aging pensioners had earlier this week staged a peaceful protest for several hours at the entrance of the governor’s office to kick against alleged plot by the state government to divert the Paris club debt refund released by President muhammadu Buhari.

Addressing newsmen after the aborted meeting, the NLC chairman, Comrade Tayo Ogunleye, TUC chairman, Comrade Soladoye Ekundayo and JNC chairman Comrade Abel Oloniyo said the action of Governor Akeredolu to walked out on labour leaders had shown that he had an inordinate intension to divert the Paris club refund for personal or political use.

The labour leaders promised to meet before they take the next action against the Ondo state government over its decision on Paris club refund and failure to continue payment of last year leave bonus.

The State Deputy Accountant-General, Mr.Tunde Akinsanmi had confirmed that the state government received alert of 20.9billoin about 4weeks ago but the money was withdrawn by the CBN from state coffer because the Federal Government want to verified Ondo State statement of account.
