At the Stadio Olimpico, AS Roma produced one of the big comebacks in Champions League history as they defeated Barcelona 3-0 in their second-leg clash.
Roma progressed on the away goals rule 4-4 on aggregate. Barcelona won the first-leg 4-1 last week. Edin Dzeko put Roma 1-0 up on six minutes before Daniele De Rossi made it 2-0 from the penalty spot on 58 minutes.
And in the 82nd minute, Konstantinos Manolas scored the decisive goal which sent Roma into the semi-final.
Roma became the third team in Champions League history to overturn a plus three-goal deficit, emulating Deportivo La Coruna in the 2003-2004 against AC Milan and Barcelona last season against Paris Saint-Germain.
