QPR Ebere Eze has refused to shut the door on a potential switch of allegiance back to Nigeria despite earning his first call up to the U20 national team of England.
Eze trained with the Nigerian team when they had their training camp in London a little over a year ago but since then he has not been called up by coach Gernot Rohr despite his impressive showing for QPR in the English Championship.
He was handed his first call up to the U20 of England last week but that has still not stopped the former Millwall midfielder from his dream of representing Nigeria at senior level.
In an interview with QPR official periscope channel , Eze confirmed his desire to still represent Nigeria at senior level and Owngoalnigeria.com caught a glimpse of the interview where he made the claims before it was deleted by the club.
A playmaker on the pitch, his open declaration for Nigeria will no doubt ease the pressure on coach Rohr of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, who has received lot of criticism over his decision to snub the 20 year old in the list of players called up for the back to back games against Libya.
