Catholics hold mass in honour of late priests (Photo)



Catholic,Priests,Sisters and parishioners troupped out en mass from and within Abuja metropolis for a procession in honour of the 2 priests and 17 parishioners Slained last month in Benue State by suspected Herdsmen.

Apart from officiating priests,Reverend Sisters, some other Faithful were in black attire to express their grief over the death of those they described as martyrs.

Reverend Father Felix Tyolaha and Joseph Gor were murdered along with other 17 Catholic faithfuls during early morning Mass held at St Ignatius Catholic Church, Ukpor-Mbalam Parish, Her East Local Government Area of Benue State.

Faithful prayed God for external rest of the departed souls and restore the needed peace to Benue and Nigeria at large.

The service will also feature Catholic faithful in Peace protest from the National Christian Center where the service is currently being held to Our lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-cathedral Area 3, Abuja.
