2019 UTME: JAMB approves new cut-off marks

Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB and stakeholders in the Nigeria tertiary education sector have approved the National minimum Admission mark for Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

The minimum mark was the outcome of a voting process presided by JAMB registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede at policy meeting in Gbongan.

160 was approved for public universities and 140 for private universities.

Public Polytechnics will go for minimum of 120 Private Polytechnics 100, while Colleges of Education’s mark is put at 100.
